Overview

Lexer Research proposes an innovative production system building concept called “Simulation Integrated Manufacturing”.
At the heart of the concept is the “no-code model-based manufacturing simulator GD.findi.
This simulator, an autonomous agent-type simulator that can be operated without programming, promotes “democratization” from a traditional IT expert’s tool to a production engineer’s tool. The democratized production simulator promotes business process reform so that production engineers can perform virtual kaizen (improvement) while using the production simulator on their own. We support the strengthening of the engineering chain in the manufacturing industry by reforming DR (Design Review) activities through the proactive design of production systems by production engineers.

Why GD.findi is required

We live in an era of volatile VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity). In this era, the pursuit of a grand design of the ideal state is the key to maximizing the potential of an organization.

However, in today’s manufacturing environment, operations have become fragmented (takotsubo), and it has become extremely difficult to get a bird’s-eye view of the entire operation. In addition, there is a depletion of specialized engineers with experience in the entire business.
In such a business environment, even inexperienced engineers are required to design appropriate production systems to execute individual operations based on a bird’s eye view of the entire business. For this purpose, digital tools such as production simulation are required.

The value of GD.findi’s offerings

The digital tools we offer are designed so that even inexperienced engineers can use them in practice, helping to optimize the entire organization. We believe it is important to “enable engineers to simulate by themselves. In other words, “democratize” production system design with production simulators so that even production engineers who are not familiar with IT can perform it, not only by reducing operational costs, but also by improving the quality of sanctioned system design and deducting operational efficiency (lead time reduction) by performing engineering interactively by themselves, We can help you innovate your engineering processes in production readiness.

Based on production simulation technology, Lexer Research’s digital tools support “a design approach that predicts the future of individual design guidelines,” opening up new possibilities in the manufacturing industry.

Features

GD.findi can run production simulations with no code, utilizing existing business data. It minimizes preparatory work and enables a quick PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act: Plan-Do-Check-Evaluate-Improve) cycle. This enables efficient DR (Design Review) of production system design work in preparation for production and mass production, and supports an overwhelmingly early start-up of mass production in the engineering chain.
