MHI’s Manufacturing Human Resource Development Program Featured in Press Release from Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry

The “LeMMI4.0” manufacturing human resource development program led by MHI was introduced in a press release by the Ministry of Industry of Indonesia.

The LeMMI4.0 Manufacturing Human Resource Development Program is a course to develop digital manufacturing human resources using our production simulator “GD.findi” and other tools, and is an activity we have been promoting in cooperation with the Indonesian Ministry of Industry and Advanced Human Resources Development Agency since 2019.

Based on the results of LeMMI 4.0 activities to date, the Indonesian Ministry of Industry has introduced this activity in a press release. From this year, the activity has been positioned as part of the Japan-Indonesia EPA and G2G support policy, and is expanding.

Here, in particular, both the Japanese and Indonesian public and private sectors are expected to cooperate to bring growth to Japanese and Indonesian companies by transitioning to advanced manufacturing using digital technology. We, at MHI, are committed to promoting this project as part of our Asian strategy.
