＜Background and activities＞

The world’s manufacturing is expected to enter the rapid growth era where IT such as IoT and 3D is used in the market 10 years after the current young people enter the labor market as adults.In the production system section of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers, what is the form of manufacturing 20years ahead in 10 years in order to maintain the competitiveness of the Japanese manufacturing industry and promote new challenges in the future? In addition, we discussed what is essentially what we should pursue, and thought that it is important to present a message, and launched the “Connected Cyber Factory CPPS Research Subcommittee”.

This subcommittee is promoted by our representative as a secretary and consists of about 20 manufacturing experts.First of all, the major themes of the subcommittee were made in 2040, and the current state of the art and the latest technologies of cyber physical systems in the field of production systems were investigated and the future state was organized and clarified.
